The RoadRunner™ Drive Time/Drive Distance Module for REgis Pro™ is the most accurate way to automatically define your trade area. Simply select the time or distance that your core customers drive to get to your locations and RoadRunner does the work for you.

Unlike most other drive time tools on the market RoadRunner uses individual road segments to calculate the time that can be driven in every direction from a point. Using actual road segments ensures that only distances that can physically be driven are calculated. You get a clearer idea about how your customers get to you location, not an as-the-crow-flies estimate.

For a more accurate variation on the radius approach you may want to calculate bands of equal drive time or drive distance around a central point. This is particularly useful when you take into account that 80 percent of a retailer's customers typically drive 10 minutes or less from their home to reach any store.

To make customization fast and easy and to allow you to apply your local knowledge you can use these DriveTime Analysis™ Tool presets -

• Normal – no heavy traffic; good for mid-day
• Moderate – good for mild congestion and weekends
• Heavy – rush hour
• Custom – you can define your own speeds; good for event traffic, construction, and streets that have unique speed patterns

DriveTime – Polygon area created in which any point within its boundaries can be reached inside a certain time frame (measured in minutes), following the roads database.

DriveDistance – Draws a polygon around each location, x mile in distance, following the roads database.
