Written as a stand alone, add-in tool for the REgis Pro™ Desktop Mapping software, the newly developed CustomerCannibalization™ Impact Tool is designed to analyze, report and map customer data, with several output options.
The tool is used to determine the number of people per business for a designated trade area, and has the ability to determine the cannibalization effect on locations within the trade area. The program will also allow you to see sales data for each unit and include this data in the results, if the data exists.
For example, you could take all the people in a trade area and find out which businesses these people frequent, then determine what percentage those people are to the total number of people for that corresponding business.
With this tool you are able to quickly and easily use your customer and store data to help you understand the impact of your future stores as well as your competition.
