At Sites USA we offer quite a bit of data to users, and you can import just about any data you have into our system.

We make these datasets available to you because we believe that these are the best data available at any price to help you make better site selection decisions.

PostalCount™ Pro data

Most standard demographic data is currently based on the 2010 Census with current year estimates. The affect of using such data can allow for an under-count or over-count for geographic areas of high growth/change. The United States Postal Service (USPS) residential or business drop counts enable analysts to use current data rather than rely on estimated figures. USPS Postal drops are updated quarterly. By supplementing demographic reports with the current postal drop information, such areas can be investigated much more accurately

  • PostalCount Pro™ - Data at the block group level or smaller geographies - One time license
  • PostalCount Pro Plus™ - Data at the block group level or smaller geographies - Quarterly updates for one year

PostalCount™ data is USPS and U.S. Census data that is aggregated to the block group level. Reports and shadings are processed at the block group level. The PostalCount™ data product is a one-time license of the data. The PostalCountPlus™ data product is a license of the data that includes quarterly updates for one year.

PostalCount Pro™ data is USPS and U.S. Census data that is aggregated to geographies at the block group level or smaller. Reports and shadings use a proportional sum method to more accurately display demographics for geographies at the block group level or smaller. The PostalCountPro™ data product is a one-time license of the data. The PostalCountProPlus™ data product is a license of the data that includes quarterly updates for one year.

AGS base data

They've done the math. We've done the research

When we had to decide what data set to offer as standard with our products we had many choices. We chose Applied Geographic Solutions because their data was, and continues to be, the most realistic we could find. Some data providers had estimates that we felt were inflated in key areas of the country, while the AGS data is consistent throughout. The AGS methodology just makes more sense when using the data to support multi-million dollar site selection decisions.

The more realistic numbers available with the AGS data will let you be confident in your analysis of a trade area.

AGS delivers an extensive range of the highest quality demographic data products and lifestyle segmentation system, Mosaic™. All databases are derived from superior source data and the most sophisticated, refined, and proven methodologies. Plus, unlike other providers' databases, which are frequently available only at county or zip code levels, the majority of AGS data is available down to block group levels.

Those of you who want an in-depth explanation of the methodology used by AGS can download the 2010 AGS Methodology Guide.

Current Year Estimates and 5-year Projections

The estimates and projections database includes a wide range of core demographic variables for the current year and for both 5- year projections, covering five broad topic areas: population, households, income, labor force, and dwellings. With a foundation of the Experian household-level databases and over fifteen years of experience in demographic forecasting, AGS offers the highest quality demographic estimates in the marketplace today.
