Who, What, Where, When, How, Why.
The 2008 REGIS™ Users' Conference brings together mapping professionals from around the country for three days of in-depth training, open discussions, presentations and networking. The Sites USA staff will deliver valuable training and the best and most qualified networking opportunities in our industry!
Who should attend?
The short answer ... Everyone.
The long answer ... Anyone who wants to increase their skill set to get the most out of their mapping and demographic software investment.
For new users this training will get you past the basics of the interface and introduce you to the capabilities of REGIS™. With your new mapping abilities you can begin thinking about how the images and information fit into an entire marketing plan. You will be able to begin to see how location affects every aspect of the retail industry.
For more advanced users the topics and techniques get more complex and the presentations will move faster to accommodate the greater amount of detail presented.
What will be presented?
The sessions are hands-on. You will have your own computer with all of the software and data needed for the class.
You can see a good list of the topics to be covered on the classroom sessions page.
Where will this event be held?
At the Gainey Suites Resort in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona.
The area is a great place to relax and unwind after the intensive training sessions, and we have built in several informal networking opportunities for you to get to meet other mapping and demographic specialists who understand the specific needs of the commercial real estate industry.
When does it start and when can I register?
The 2008 REGIS™ Users' Conference will be held 18 - 20 June.
The registration cutoff dates are -
- Special Early Registration - Paid before 28 March 2008 - $895!
- Early Bird Registration - Paid by 28 April 2008 - $1,095.
- Regular Registration - Paid after 28 April 2008 - $1,295.
How will the classes and sessions be presented?
Our instructors will run the sessions with an iron fist! ... just kidding.
Each session will be run by mapping and demographics experts who use REGIS™ every day. There is typically a primary instructor and one to three "floaters." These floaters will make sure that all of your questions are answered and that each person gets all of the personal attention they need.
Will the tests be hard?
No.
No tests, just three days of hands-on training. Each class is developed to go at a pace that will allow you to follow without being overwhelmed, whatever your REGIS™ skill level.
Why should I attend this event rather than one of your regularly scheduled training events?
For most new users attending both would be a good idea.
This is one of only two opportunities each year to get intermediate and advanced REGIS™ and site selection training along with networking opportunities.
